As social media increasingly promotes unrealistic beauty standards and heavy emphasis on outward appearance, young girls and women grow increasingly self-conscious about their body and image.

Through this workshop, Team Solidarity 团 hopes to shed light on body positivity and give young ladies a new sense of confidence that flows from the inside out.

The workshop includes

  • interative minimalistic skincare and makeup talks

  • self-defence demonstration

  • sharing on managing our thoughts about our self-worth

  • hands-on bottle making and letter-writing session

  • testimony on overcoming low self-esteem

  • self defence demonstration

Our Facilatators

Qin YunQuan

Qin YunQuan is the co-founder of Kapap Academy. Among her numerous accomplishments, YunQuan was also presented the Queen's Young Leaders award (2017) in recognition of her efforts in equipping ordinary people with self-defence skills.

Irene Chong is the founder of Sage & Ylang (SAY). As a mother of 5, Irene wanted to create safe and reliable skincare for her children. Consequently, she created microbiome- friendly skincare that promoted skin stability.

Kelly Randall Sia

Kelly Sia is a homemaker and author of best selling cookbook Delicious Gems. Gourmand World Cookbook Awards - Best in the World winner.
